WELCOME TO THE "4TH SYMPOSIUM ON MATERIALS AND ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING - ADDITIVE 2024" FROM 12 - 14 JUNE 2024 IN BREMEN, BERLIN & ONLINE

Additive manufacturing (AM) is one of the most promising and innovative production technologies of the 21st century. It goes beyond the technological limits of traditional manufacturing and offers new possibilities for creating highly customized parts with complex design and functionality.

Additive manufacturing of metallic parts has already reached the level of serial production in many different industries, like the medical, aerospace, and automotive ones. A key role in the sustainable growth of metal AM technologies is played by the complementary progress in materials science aiming to enable the manufacture of high-performance metal parts and ensure their mechanical, physical, and functional properties.

Additive 2024 is a cutting-edge forum representing the progress in materials science related to metal additive manufacturing. The symposium is intended to promote an exchange of experiences and collaborations between users of metal AM technology from diverse areas of industry and the scientific AM community.
